Famous footballer and coach Andriy Shevchenko visited the educational center of the state institution "School of Superheroes" at the Kyiv clinic "Okhmatdyt". The athlete talked to the students and the School of Superheroes team and told the children about his childhood experience in hospitals, in particular, that he had extra time to read and learn new things.

"Andriy Shevchenko, despite his global star status and experience playing for the world's best clubs, turned out to be a very simple and sincere person. While talking to the children, he not only played football with a girl but also recalled his best childhood years. He talked about his experience in hospitals when he was little. He said that it was the best time to study or read. He also shared with the children his thoughts on modern football, answered the children's questions about the transfer of football players, and spoke to them as if they were real experts. At the request of some children, he also recorded video messages for their friends, and for one boy he recorded a video for the frontline, for the boy’s dad, who is now defending Ukraine. Such a meeting allowed the children to become closer to their dreams and understand that any person, even if they are a world-famous star, is really just a person who has the same feelings, dreams, and aspirations as they do now," said Olga Nabochenko, deputy director of the School of Superheroes.
