The New Year's miracle for the students was made possible as part of a charity ad block and the
broadcast of the
‘Christmas. You are not alone’ project. During the broadcast, our partner, 1+1 Ukraine TV, announced a
collection for the
needs of the Superheroes School students. The company's employees also joined in, donating to a special
jar throughout
the month of December. As a result, more than UAH 500,000 was raised for the children. All the money
will be used for
the educational needs of the hospital's young patients.
In particular, a new classroom of the Superheroes School will be opened at St. Nicholas Hospital in
Lviv, in the
onco-haematology department. It will serve as a separate space for children with cancer, who are not
allowed to interact
with other patients. As a result, the children in the unit will now be able to keep up with their
studies and easily
catch up with the school curriculum.
"The Christmas holidays are a time of miracles. Children look forward to it the most, especially those
who are currently
in hospital. Studying at Superheroes School is an opportunity for them to discover the world inside the
hospital walls.
We thank everyone for supporting our young students in their quest for knowledge," said Natalia Oliynyk,
acting director
of the Superheroes School.
The funds were transferred to the account of the NGO Small Heart with Art, which founded the Superheroes
School as a
volunteer project and is now actively involved in its development and expansion as a state institution.
The Superheroes
School will also report on the use of all funds raised on its official website. And the first good news
about the new
class will come at the end of January.
