Report on the work of the state institution ‘Superheroes School’ in 2024
31.12.2024
At the beginning of the year, we traditionally summarise the results. Despite everything, the past year
brought many
important events, each marked by the hard work of our team. But most importantly, the smiles of our
students—the ones
who, despite illness, bravely move forward, learn, and showcase their incredible achievements—remain our
greatest
reward.
In 2024:
Six new educational spaces of the School of Superheroes opened across Ukraine with funding from the Olena
Zelenska
Foundation, in Lviv, Rivne, Poltava, Odesa, Kryvyi Rih, and Vinnytsia.
Superheroes attended 68,500 lessons across 17 educational centers.
More than 9,500 children in hospitals became true superheroes. Despite their illnesses, they found the
strength not only
to face their challenges but also to gain knowledge and attend the School of Superheroes every day.
241 subject teachers, educators and assistants, practical psychologists, primary school teachers, and
methodologists
work with superheroes. This is almost twice as many as last year.
A unique electronic journal for the School of Superheroes is in its final testing phase. Together with
SoftServe, we are
developing an innovative IT product that significantly simplifies "paperwork."
The fourth All-Ukrainian Conference of Hospital Teachers was held offline for the second time, with over 120
teachers
from hospitals across Ukraine participating.
Evhen Kravchenko, a history teacher at the School of Superheroes in Dnipro, was awarded the "Heartfelt
Choice"
nomination by Natalia Moseichuk as part of the Global Teacher Prize Ukraine 2024.
Throughout the year, Olena Zelenska supported us, attended lessons, and participated in School activities.
1+1 media are happy to feel your support.
We thank all our friends and partners who are always by our side.
We are incredibly proud of each of our superheroes. We analyze the results and move forward so that even
more children
can feel like true superheroes as they step through the doors of our educational centers.
