Launch of the New Season of the Summer Residence at the Superheroes School in Ohmatdyt
with 1+1 Ukraine TV Hosts
13.06.2024
The educational center of the state institution "Superheroes School" at Ohmatdyt in Kyiv continues its
tradition.
Recently, a new season of the summer residence was opened. Every year, during the warm season, classes are
held outdoors
to allow children to spend more time in the fresh air.
This year's opening was graced by the school's good friends - TV hosts from 1+1 Ukraine and 1+1 Marathon:
Marichka
Padalko, Valentyna Khamaiko, Timur Miroshnychenko and Nelya Shovkoplyas, as well as actors from the new 1+1
Ukraine
series "Doctor by Calling" - Iolanta Bohdyun, Oleksandr Pecherytsia, Khrystyna Deylyk and Myron Shuvalov.
They visited
the Superheroes School at NDSL Ohmatdyt to bring joy to the young patients.
Together with the superheroes, the stars took part in quests, played and interacted with the children. They
also
refreshed the garden, which is replenished with new plants every year. There were so many enthusiastic
gardeners that
they had to take turns working in the garden. The first harvest of greens, radishes and raspberries has
already been
gathered and shared with the guests. New fresh vegetables and fruits are expected soon. Throughout the
summer, the
students will learn biology by tending the plants and observing their growth.
"Doing something in the soil in such a small garden is therapy for both children and parents," said TSN and
1+1 Marathon
host Marichka Padalko.
The tradition of opening the summer residence at the Superheroes School was established in 2019. Since then,
stars have
visited our students every year to welcome the start of summer, spend time outdoors and, most importantly,
inspire our
superheroes to study hard and recover quickly. The residence is also equipped with a mini football pitch,
inclusive
merry-go-rounds and a crosswalk for learning the rules of the road. The space was developed through the
efforts of the
Right to Education and Make a Dream projects, viewers and partners of the 1+1 channel.
"We all enjoyed what happened – playing active games, planting vegetables and flowers, and learning
something new,"
shared Timur Miroshnychenko, host of 1+1 Media projects.
In total, there are five classes in Ohmatdyt under the state institution Superheroes School, where lessons
are held
every day. In the last school year, more than 3,000 lessons were held here.
